Wimborne Model Town is a 1/10th scale of the centre of Wimborne as it was in the 1950s which opened in 1951. The charity attraction, mainly staffed by volunteers, sits on a 2/3 acre site with mature gardens and complementary facilities. This year we have a special one way distanced route ; some of our additional facilities have been modified to comply with health & safety regulations.
. Eventually you approach Wendy Street, which has recently been refurbished, a designated safe play area for younger visitors.
Why not test your skills on our Crazy Golf course. Great Fun! While you are excitedly adding up the scores on the official Scorecard provided, the children have found the next attraction – the most fantastic working Model Railway layout.
This fascinating layout is uniquely interactive, enabling the visitor to set the trains in motion and features a new digital lighting system new for this year.Thomas is often to be found on the layout. Thomas & co souvenirs can be found in our Gift Shop which has a great range of goods and gifts to remember your visit.
