Model Buildings Weekend at Wimborne Model Town

1950s building toys including Lott’s Bricks, Bayko and Minibrix will be making a hands-on appearance for one weekend only, 23 – 24 July, The construction model sets, popular in households across the country before the appearance of Lego, will be available for visitors to try. It may be a first time for our  younger visitors, or perhaps bringing back memories for older ones.

Jack Gritton from Cobnut 3D will be on hand to demonstrate and explain the process of model making with 3D printers.  Cobnut has been producing the miniature models for our Model of The Model Town, the developing 1/100^th scale diorama which forms our 70^th anniversary project. Come and see a model appear right in front of you.

Booking is not required and there are no additional charges for this weekend feature.
