Set out in the late 1980s, the gardens which surround the Model Town have over the years given much pleasure to visitors. Since  2018 they have received accredited listing by the National Garden Scheme.  Including herbaceious borders, a vegetable garden, rockery, miniature river system, shrubs and trees, they are tended by an enthusiastic group of volunteers. A new vegetable garden area is being planned for the 2022 season The Sensory Garden area includes grasses, wind and water features and a seasonally fragrant and colourful border.  There is plenty of seating to enjoy the view.

Our voluntary gardeners have two team, operating on Tuesdays and Thursday. Would you like to join in?   The gardens have received many prizes from the annual  WIMBORNE IN BLOOM compeition.
